Our First Ever Blog

Welcome everyone to the first blog for the McIntyre Quilters Group. Our group meets in Goondiwindi at the Golden Age Centre on the fourth Sunday of the month.

Over the years we have undertaken many quilts, patchwork projects and occasionally other crafts.

We generally meet around 9.00-9.30am and sew until about 4.00pm.
Tea and coffee is provided but please bring your mug. Members bring a plate to share for our morning and afternoon teas and we bring our own lunch or you can pop around to town and buy something.

Bring along your sewing machine and basic sewing/patchwork needs plus an extension cord and or power pack to plug in from a distance.

Requirements for monthly projects are either posted or emailed before the monthly get together.

At our get togethers we either learn a new skill in patchwork, finish a UFO ( thats an unfinished object) or possibly have a guest tutor.

Membership is $15 per year and $10 per meeting.

There is no meeting in May as we are going on a retreat to Stacey's at the Gap outside of Warwick.  We will be back at the Golden Age Centre in June.

Please enjoy the pics from our April Meeting.

There is a lot more blog building to do but I hope you enjoy the beginnings of our blog.
