Preparation for March’s meeting

We are doing the twister project in March.  Large or small whatever you planned but whatever it is you need to do some prep if you want to make progress on the day.

“ Rule of thumb – whatever the squares and border measure finished object will be one third smaller.”

All you have to do is sew your squares together and put your border on.

Whatever size you have chosen have your squares and borders together ready to cut.

Small template -  cut squares 5” with a 3” border.

Table runner - 3 down and as many as you like across plus border.

The placemat -  4 across and three down plus  the border.

Medium template - cut squares6 ½” and border 4”

Large template - cut squares 10” with 6 ½” border.

Next month Gail Clark who has been president for quite a while is retiring …. Gail has done a wonderful job inspiring us by finding new and interesting activities to be involved in. Thank you so much Gail for everything you have done.  It appears we may need new office bearers this year. It would be great to see as many as possible at our AGM in March.

 Enjoy your sewing
